| For an upcoming Shakespearean-themed dessert party, Jessica and I composed the following to include in our invitations:
One household, very much in dignity In fair Margareton, where we lay our party, From highschool days to new maturity, Where three years' travel make us weary. From forth our tummies leap fatal strikes A table of star-crossed desserts take their life, Along with fellow appetizers' sacrifice, Mourned by chicken, spinach, and Sprite. The tasty passage of sugar-sprinkled joys, And continuance of cerebral games and toys In the company of most beloved girls and boys Is now the five hour's traffic of our ploy. To which if you with patient stomachs attend, What here you'll find, our happy memories shall have no end.

| My trip to New York started out marvelously, and it was all because of a Happy Meal.
I haven’t had a Happy Meal since I was 10, so my experience today was highly delightful. The Happy meal packaging has improved so much since I’ve last had it. Actually, today it wasn’t a bag, but more like a cardboard box with McDonald “M” handles. I walked away from the McDonald’s counter paying only $2.49, and I got so much more than the other guy sitting across from me who bought an adult combo meal.
I got a cheeseburger, French fries, orange juice, and a pirates bandanna. The meal box contents kept me occupied and highly entertained for that half hour before boarding my plane. I went through a treasure map, found that pirates ate fish for proteins and mopped the deck for exercise, and I also created a pirate name for myself, “Isabel Brown Salmon” (middle name + favorite color + fish). They also had pirate-wear cutouts, but I loved the box too much to rip the pirate earring, eye patch, and sword away. And along with my bandanna was a tiny square card, inside a mysterious black plastic wrapping, and it turned out that it was 1 of 8 cutouts of a treasure map. I promised myself that I will buy more happy meals until I get the entire map (it totally worked on me). :)
